Utata is a made up word.
I have this unfinished novel under my bed. It has a race of long lived people in it who tell their life stories by way of intricate tattoos (called utatas) all along the sides of their bodies. They cannot die until their stories have reached the soles of their feet. So, a utata is a piece of a story, basically.
Utata is pronounced in a variety of ways but the way I pronounce it is: “You-Ta-ta.”
